Laura Williams has been working as a specialist adviser in the Indian art-world for over 20 years.

Graduating with a degree in Art History from the School of World Art and Museology at The University of East Anglia she followed this with an MA in Art & Neuroscience and a spent a year in the same school as a Visiting Fellow.

Laura acts as the Art Adviser for The South Asian Decorative Arts and Crafts Collection Trust (The SADACC Trust). She is the Indian Consultant Specialist for Doerr Valuations in the UK.

Art 18|21 works with leading institutions and private clients. Laura has an excellent working relationship with many leading contemporary artists in India. Her involvement with collection management gives her the advantage of working with the major auction houses, private dealers and public and private museums, both buying and re-distributing artworks. For Public Art Projects we take the lead and manage budgets, commissioning artworks from the design process to installation, insurance and maintenance.

We advise on authenticity and conservation of artworks.

In the Indian Art field there are many important works that for one reason or another do not have any paperwork or known history. This is one of our areas of excellence where we are able to research and though professional knowledge and expertise help bring genuine artworks to their full market potential.
